Using Twitter and Facebook to Build A List

Posted by Connie Ragen Green on Mar 11, 2009 in List Building, Social Networking/Social Media |

I had more than 200 people on my teleseminar today, most likely because of the topic. People who have been quiet on my calls for more than a year suddenly came alive with questions and comments. Social networking simply makes people more, you’ve got it, sociable.

Building a list has never been easier than it is now, due to the social media mania. I can find hundreds of people who are interested in my topic simply by tweeting about it or inviting them to a teleseminar through Facebook’s event feature. I do not take these people for granted, because I know they must stay interested or they will be gone. But it is an amazing time to be starting an online business, and I encourage you to take advantage of it.

Follow me on Twitter [I'm @ConnieGreen] and join my group on Facebook. Get involved with social networking. Limit yourself to one hour a day if time is an issue. See what happens. Sign up for my list (in the box at the top right) if you haven’t already, and I’ll invite you to my next weekly call and answer your questions.
