Repurpose Your Content To Increase Your Productivity and Profits

Repurposing your content is the process of using one idea and turning it into a variety of formats that can be consumed by your prospects and clients. We all know that people prefer different ways of learning and receiving information, so by providing several options you are more likely to reach a much wider audience.

Start with a blog post. Turn your original idea into a post that is two to three hundred words in length. Your blog is your home on the internet. By creating relevant, interesting, and informative content there you are laying a strong foundation for your internet business. You are also establishing that the idea came from you in the first place.

Next, repurpose your post into an article and submit it to the article directories. The article must be at least two hundred and fifty words in length. Most of my articles are right around three hundred words. You will get a backlink from your article to your blog, or any site you are sending your prospects to. Because this backlink comes from a site with a high page ranking, it has significant value. Articles also are more easily found by people searching for information on your topic.

After this you can further repurpose your content into newsletters, e-courses, short reports, tweets, forum comments, audio recordings, videos, and more. You can build your online empire by repurposing your content.

Hi Connie! I agree that as long as you can maintain the integrity of the content, Repurposing is a great way to increase traffic. Plus, I find that each time I repurpose content, I discover a new angle to explore or tip to suggest on the topic. Each type of repurposing (blog, article, newsletter, tweet) is a new opportunity to teach the subject and “build your online empire.”
