Keywords In Your Titles To Leverage The Power Of The Internet

Posted by Connie Ragen Green on Jan 8, 2008 in Keywords |

Keywords are the words and phrases people use when they search for information on your topic. Find out which words those are, and then use them in everything you write. This includes your ebook’s title, titles of articles you write, and blog post titles. Here is how it works:

  • When someone searches for information on your topic, they will typically type two, three or four words into the search engine they are using (Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc.)
  • The search results they get will include websites, blogs, blog posts, articles, comments made online, and press releases
  • You want to leverage the power of the internet by using all of these ways to get your name out there

Use a keyword selector tool, such as WordTracker, to see which keywords are the most popular in your niche.
