Have you pinged your post lately?
Blogging as often as possible, every day if you can, will help boost your pagerank and also bring more visitors to your blog. I refer to this as Power Blogging, and encourage everyone to make it work for them like it has for me. I will be going into more detail about this in my upcoming teleseminar course.
Every time you post to your blog you will want to follow it up by ‘pinging’ over at Pingoat. This service actually notifies many blog directories, such as Feedburner and Technorati, that you have made a new entry on your blog. Each blog post is considered to be a new page, so if you are making a short post each day of even one hundred words, you are adding a new page to your site. Get used to the ‘post and ping’ combination and your online writing will take off.
Especially if you are writing articles, short reports, and ebooks, you will want to write in conjunction with blogging. Send readers back to your blog at the end of your articles, and sell your short reports and ebook directly from your blog. This is a winning formula if you take full advantage of it.
