I think recording your ebook is a great idea. I did a little of it for my current ebook I'm working on when you suggested it a few weeks ago. I wrote a book on Networking Success a few years ago and also recorded it - a substantial amount of it - using Dragon Naturally Speaking Professional.

You simply talk into a microphone - I use a headset - and it records exactly what you say. You do need to do some editing, but what it saves you in time is well worth it. I can type 70 words per minute, but I can speak more than double that. Plus, when you're trying to "write" more casually, it's much easier to accomplish if you're dictating the material. Connie, I'm not using my dictation software as much as I should, but your article has inspired me to do more talking and less writing.

I haven't used Instant Teleseminar for dictation (just using it for my teleseminars), but that's a good idea too since you can have instant access to your recording and it's easy to send or have your VA download it for transcription.

For many people, writing can be a challenge, but we can all talk and I think it's the way to "write" your ebook or ebook when you need to get it done quickly.
