Writing your eBook will just be the beginning of building your online business. Now you must consider what other products and services people will want that are related to your eBook topic. Understanding how to repurpose your content and create many different products will help you to develop multiple streams of income that will increase steadily over time. You may even want to use books and other content from the Public Domain to find more writing to use. Here are some ways to use the same information in your eBook to create more products and services for your clients and prospects.
1) Break your eBook up into as many articles as possible. Each of these articles will bring readers back to your website or blog and help you to build your list. You can submit the exact same article to as many article directories as you like. Once these articles begin to circulate on the internet, they will be there forever.
2) Take an excerpt from your eBook and sell (more…)

Although I have eBook writing and marketing students living all over the world, most of the people I work with are located in Northern America, Western Europe, and Australia. After watching the Olympics from Beijing, China, I have begun to think differently about writing and selling eBooks. I encourage you to do the same, and here are the reasons I have for changing my thinking so drastically.
- China has about 1.3 billion residents. That is one billion more people than currently live in the United States. One out of every 5 people on planet Earth lives in China.
- These people have the same needs, problems, desires, and goals as people throughout the rest of the world. Yet most of us working online do not reach out to them. Instead, we continue to relate to people online as though they are our next door neighbors. In order to prosper in the coming years, we must relate to our clients and prospects on a global level.
- No matter what your niche, the people in China can relate to it. When I think of the various niche markets I write in – weight loss, Yorkshire terriers and other small dogs, relationships, success, internet marketing, and eBook writing – I know that the Chinese would also be interested in learning more.
So what can we all do to (more…)

If you are writing an eBook, you will be interested in selling as many of them as possible once the eBook is completed. You will find out that other people will probably sell more copies of your eBook than you will. The reason for this is that affiliate sales of your eBook will help you to make hundreds, or even thousands, of more sales if you understand how the process works. Once you learn how to find affiliate partners who will promote for you, your online business will take off like never before. These are the 5 T’s to remember when you want to sell your eBook through affiliate sales.
1. Treat your affiliates well. They could just as easily be promoting someone else’s product, so respect them for choosing you and your eBook to promote to their list. Share their enthusiasm by making a connection with them and letting them know each time they make a sale of your eBook or other product.
2. Train your affiliates so that they will have the best possible information when they are telling other people about what you have written. Hold a monthly teleseminar training call to answer their questions and show them what to do. Many people have never been an affiliate and are confused about the various aspects of using an affiliate link. Explain everything in detail, using visual examples, if possible.
3. Tools – provide your affiliates with (more…)

You can repurpose the content you have written about in your articles and eBook by turning them into teleseminars. I have had great success with teleseminars and you can do the same thing. I have been giving teleseminars for over a year now, but it was not until I learned exactly how to build my list and market to my niche audience through these teleseminars that I began to build a five figure a month business.
I hold a free weekly teleseminar each Wednesady, and provide good and useful content to my listeners. Many of them come on these lead generating calls for several weeks and then choose to sign up for one of my courses or my mentor program.
Join me on one of these weekly calls to learn more about building your online business by writing articles and eBooks.

Are you writing an eBook on a topic that people are interested in purchasing? The only way you will know is if you do your research before you finish writing. Many people do not want to spend the time doing their research, and then are disappointed when their eBook does not sell. Here is how to turn your eBook around so that you can make passive income by writing about what you know and love.
- Spend as much time as possible researching the keywords people use when they are searching for information on your topic. If you have difficulty determining which words describe what you are writing about, look for sites that are doing something similar to what you want to do and see which words they are using.
- Make an honest assessment of your topic. Is this information already available for free somewhere else online? If so, you may want to rethink your topic and how you are presenting it.
- Decide if you will need to (more…)

There are thousands of affiliate products that are complimentary to your niche topic. You can increase your profits when you sell your eBook by including affiliate products in your eBook. This must be done strategically, or it will defeat the purpose you are intending. Here are the ways to go about finding and using affiliate products to enhance your eBook and increase your profits for years to come.
- Remember that many people will think nothing of sharing your eBook with others. Instead of being angry that this is happening, use this method to ensure that your profit will be even higher if people do share your information.
- Go to a site such as Clickbank ProSearch and look for digital products that are complimentary to what you are selling. If you are writing about cooking, for example, search for products about food, health, and anything else that your target audience may also be interested in knowing more about.
- Purchase a domain name for each affiliate product you intend to promote. This will cost less than ten dollars a year and will bring you lots of money while avoiding messy affiliate links.
- Do not overload your eBook with affiliate recommendations. I like to keep it to no more than (more…)

I just came home from the opening ceremonies at the Rotary International Convention. This year it is here in Los Angeles, for the first time since 1962. That was the year former President Ronald Reagan gave the keynote address, back when he was an actor and not yet a politician. As I sat in the large hall at the Los Angeles Convention Center, I looked around at the group of almost 20,000 people who were there with me. We are just a small portion of the 1.2 miliion Rotarians worldwide, living in more than 200 different countries.
As the parade of flags from each of these countries marched by and the Unite States national anthem was sung by a Rotarian from Los Angeles, I began to think of these people as a niche market. Even though we are so diverse by ethnicity, religion, and country of origin we still have so much in common. One of these things is the Rotary motto, Service Above Self. If I were writing an eBook or creating an information product of any kind, what would this group be interested in?
Think of the niche you will be marketing to. Ask yourself these same questions and see what you come up with. Do your research and find out what they care about, what brings them pain, and what problems you may be able to solve for them. Answer these questions accurately and you will have a winning product.

Right now you already have everything you need to be successful on the internet. You can write an eBook on your topic of interest and experience, and use it as the foundation of an online business. This business can be built into anything you want it to be, and it all begins with you delivering information on your niche topic to others who are willing to pay to receive the information. Here are some steps you can use to get started.
- Figure out what you are good at explaining to others. Most of us have some area of our lives where we are considered to be at least somewhat of an expert. Many times this is based on a career we have had or an experience we have dealt with related to health or a member of our family.
- What do people ask your advice or help about? What do you love doing so much that you would be willing to do it without being paid?
- Begin to write about this area of expertise. You can start with short articles, two hundred fifty to three hundred words long, and submit them to the article directories. Also, read and research as much as you can so that you become even more of an expert.
- Set aside time each day to (more…)

I just came back from Atlanta, where I spent a week with two different mentors. They both spoke at length about e-courses, where you take the content from your eBook or other writing and turn it into a class you handle completely by email. I thought about this and told them about the way I prefer to teach, using teleseminars with email follow-up.
When they showed me exactly what they are doing I decided to revisit the idea when I returned home. I am now organizing some material on writing articles, blog posts, and eBooks into an e-course that could be taught over a four to six week period. I would give assignments at the end of each lesson and the students could return what they write by email the following week. Many people, especially those who do not attend my teleseminars, may prefer to learn in this manner. Teaching online is all about making it simple for people to accomplish their goals in a way that is convenient for them.
I will provide my course to anyone who is interested as soon as it is completed. That way I can receive both testimonials and feedback before I present it to people for a fee. I’ll keep you posted on the content of this new e-course.

Now that gasoline is more than four dollars a gallon across the United States, even the media has to admit we are in a recession. This gives me even more reason to be so thankful for being able to run my entire business from home. My income has steadily increased every month for the past six months and will most likely continue to rise for the remainder of this difficult economic period. I have always said there is no recession on the internet, and I believe that more strongly today than ever before.
If you are still trying to decide whether you should write an eBook and get started with an online business, take action now and ensure your future. By now you know that my information is solid and that I break everything down in terms and steps that you can understand. I can teach you how to research your niche, write an eBook, start a blog, and build a short website to sell your eBook. I know this can be done during my six week course, because many people have already done it.
When you sign up you will also receive a consultation with me, my Article Writing and Marketing E-Course, and Bonus classes on using Google Adwords (Pay Per Click) and FrontPage. Visit the eBook Writing and Technology Mastermind page to sign up right away.

Being able to write and sell your eBook online has revolutionized the publishing industry. Instead of waiting one to two years to write and publish your work, you can now have an eBook written and ready to sell on the internet in a matter of a few short weeks, or even less, in some cases. However, many writers make the same mistakes over and over, resulting in their eBook not selling like they had hoped that it would. Here are three mistakes people make when writing an eBook or other information product.
- Not doing the research ahead of time to find out how many people are looking for information of your niche topic. It does not matter if you think your idea will make a good eBook or not. What matters is that thousands of other people are searching regularly for your topic. Use Wordtracker or one of the other free keyword search tools to see how many people are looking for the words that describe what you have written about.
- Trying to sell an eBook that tells people what they need instead of what they want. People do not want (more…)

Do you want to write an eBook? It seems like almost everyone you meet has written an eBook or a traditional book of some kind, but what is the reason behind it? You must ask yourself this question before you begin a course or program that will teach you how to do it correctly. Here are the three main reasons that people usually have for wanting to write an eBook.
- One reason for writing an eBook is to gain visibility and credibility in your field. By writing an eBook you will be perceived much differently by others. This can lead to public speaking engagements, job offers, book deals, and other lucrative opportunities.
- You may write an eBook strictly as a lead generator for your business. If you are already established as an author, speaker, coach or other professional, writing an eBook will help you to increase the business you already have.
- The third reason for writing an eBook is to make passive income online for years to come. The majority of people come into my program with this in mind. By finding a niche of hungry prospects that are willing to pay for information they want, you can do extremely well on the internet. Just remember to write your eBook in a way that gives people what they want, not what you think they need.
My eBook Writing And Technology Mastermind course begins on June 18. I still have spaces available and the class is priced to be affordable and accessible to everyone who wants this information. Find out more and sign up now.

Writing an eBook is a powerful way to position yourself as an expert, be considered a thought leader in your field, and build your credibility very quickly. This is the reason I offer my eBook Writing and Technology Mastermind course twice a year. Whereas a traditional book may take from one to two years to be available to the world, you can write, publish, and market your eBook in a matter of just a few short months. Here are some reasons why you will want to write an eBook as part of your overall marketing and public relations plan.
- Writing a book of any kind will give people the perception that you are an expert in your field. The perception is that someone who is truly an expert would be sure to write a book about their knowledge and expertise. This will open up doors and opportunities that you would not have even known existed previously.
- Once you write an eBook you join the ranks of authors all over the world. The word author is derived from the word authority, and you will be considered an authority on your topic after writing about it.
- You can sell your eBook online and build a passive income (more…)

You can more than double your profits on the eBook you write if you are willing to explain the content of your eBook to others. This is a way to repurpose your content and will enable you to build an entire online business based on the information you wrote about. There are several ways to do this.
First, write articles based on your eBook. These articles can be used to promote your eBook, as well as related products and services. You can also use article marketing to build a list of people (your traget audience) who will be interested in learning more about your topic.
Next, start a blog. This blog should be specific to your exact topic. For example, if your niche is real estate, narrow that down to residential or commercial, buyer’s or seller’s, and so on. This will ensure that you only attract people who are specifically searching for more information on what you know most about.
Finally, be willing to give teleseminars on your topic. You can use your articles or a chapter from your eBook as the basis of the outline for a teleseminar. The service I use is called Instant Teleseminar. There is a cost for this service, but it is the best one available. When you go through my link I will give you a consultation on how to set it up. I have built a five figure a month online business using this method.
What questions would you like me to address on this topic during one of my upcoming teleseminars?

The title of your eBook is just as important as a headline for a sales letter. It must grab the attention and curiosity of the reader in order for them to want to find out more. The title must scream out the benefits of what it will do for those you read it. Many people write an eBook and then wonder why it does not sell very well. One look at their title is usually all it takes for someone to see that it must be changed. Do not spend weeks or months preparing your eBook to sell, only to fall down on the job when it comes to choosing a title. Here are 5 tips on how to write an eBook title that will help your eBook sell:
- Begin making a list of titles while you are still writing your eBook. If you have finished writing, just begin writing down titles that come to mind.
- Now, look at the titles you have written, and see if they show a benefit to the reader. For example, if you have written an eBook about home gardening, a benefit might be that the reader will be able to have a beautiful garden without hiring a gardener or spending very much money. A good title might be (more…)

You will sell more eBooks when you tell people how to solve the problems they have that are related to your niche. People will do more to alleviate their pain than they will to gain pleasure. The whole idea of being able to download an eBook from the internet at any hour of the day is based on the premise that people want answers to their problems immediately.
For example, if your niche is parenting infants and toddlers, you may be writing an eBook about how to have a happy and well-adjusted child. Parents will be interested in that type of information, but imagine their little one has an earache. Can you see how much more motivated they would be to purchase information on how to solve that problem when their baby is crying from the pain?
Think about the people in your target audience. What keeps them awake at night? What problems are they facing that you could help them with? Answer those questions and include them in an eBook.

Writing an eBook is the fastest and easiest way to get started making money on the internet. Once you know how to write an eBook that sells, you can build an online business that will give you passive income for the rest of your life. Learning the sequence that must be followed will almost guarantee you success on the internet. Do not leave out any of the steps, or the process will not work. Here are the steps to take if you want to write an eBook that will sell, giving you the internet marketing lifestyle you may have been searching for online.
- Find a specific target market in your niche. You can conduct your own market research on your niche topic to see which area appeals to you the most. Think about jobs or experiences you have had, or personal interests you know something about. Anything you are pasionate about will be the very best topic to write your eBook about.
- Do some research to see if they are actively searching for information on the internet. Type in the keywords that you would use on Google or Yahoo! to find more information on this topic.
- See if there are already some products for sale in this niche market. This way you will know if people are willing to pay for this information or not. Look at the top and sides of Google when you do your search. These are the paid ads, also referred to as sponsored ads, that show you how many people are paying to advertise there.
- Find an affiliate (more…)
