If you are writing an eBook, you will be interested in selling as many of them as possible once the eBook is completed. You will find out that other people will probably sell more copies of your eBook than you will. The reason for this is that affiliate sales of your eBook will help you to make hundreds, or even thousands, of more sales if you understand how the process works. Once you learn how to find affiliate partners who will promote for you, your online business will take off like never before. These are the 5 T’s to remember when you want to sell your eBook through affiliate sales.
1. Treat your affiliates well. They could just as easily be promoting someone else’s product, so respect them for choosing you and your eBook to promote to their list. Share their enthusiasm by making a connection with them and letting them know each time they make a sale of your eBook or other product.
2. Train your affiliates so that they will have the best possible information when they are telling other people about what you have written. Hold a monthly teleseminar training call to answer their questions and show them what to do. Many people have never been an affiliate and are confused about the various aspects of using an affiliate link. Explain everything in detail, using visual examples, if possible.
3. Tools – provide your affiliates with (more…)

Whether you are new to working online or have been making money on the internet for a few years now, you should know that there is a lot of opportunity when it comes to affiliate marketing. When I was just starting out I didn’t want to promote other people’s eBooks and programs. I was very busy writing my own eBook and didn’t want to spend time on anything else. What I finally realized was that I could start making money within weeks by promoting other people’s products and services by becoming an affiliate for them.
First, I signed up for a free account over at Clickbank. Then I began to search for products that I could make money from by writing articles and blog posts. When I figured out how difficult it was to find anything on Clickbank, I signed up for a year over at Clickbank Prosearch. This service makes it simple to search for products using keywords, and then promote them through your affiliate link at Clickbank. I use the two sites simultaneously; ProSearch allows me to find the products and Clickbank sends me a check every two weeks.
The way that I actually promote these products is by (more…)

An E-course is a series of lessons that will teach your prospects about something they want to learn. You can break it into parts, or lessons, and deliver it by email through your autoresponder system. I use Kick Start, and you can get a 30 day free trial if you want to see how it works. If you sign up here I will also provide training on how to set it up twice a month at no charge.
At the end of each lesson you can include links to affiliate products and services that are complimentary to that part of your E-course. This gives you the opportunity to earn some money each time someone finishes one of your lessons. Visit Clickbank and ClickbankProSearch to find digital products you can promote. The key is to find affiliate products that will be of interest to your prospects so they will be more likely to make a purchase. You can decide how often to send out these lessons. Some people send one lesson each day for seven days, others prefer to send one lesson every two or three days to stretch out the time.
You may have signed up for someone’s E-course in the past. Sometimes people do not call it an E-course, so you may have received a series of tips or secrets on how to accomplish something of importance to you. Either way, it gave the person who was sending you this information an opportunity to stay in contact with you over time.
The best E-courses always include an opportunity for the prospect to continue to do business with you. Plan ahead to make sure you will have an eBook, teleseminar course, or other product or service to offer when the E-course is complete. For an example of how E-course work, download my E-course here. If you are having difficulty or have questions about setting up your own E-coourse, feel free to contact me at connie at connie-green dot com.

There are thousands of affiliate products that are complimentary to your niche topic. You can increase your profits when you sell your eBook by including affiliate products in your eBook. This must be done strategically, or it will defeat the purpose you are intending. Here are the ways to go about finding and using affiliate products to enhance your eBook and increase your profits for years to come.
- Remember that many people will think nothing of sharing your eBook with others. Instead of being angry that this is happening, use this method to ensure that your profit will be even higher if people do share your information.
- Go to a site such as Clickbank ProSearch and look for digital products that are complimentary to what you are selling. If you are writing about cooking, for example, search for products about food, health, and anything else that your target audience may also be interested in knowing more about.
- Purchase a domain name for each affiliate product you intend to promote. This will cost less than ten dollars a year and will bring you lots of money while avoiding messy affiliate links.
- Do not overload your eBook with affiliate recommendations. I like to keep it to no more than (more…)

I started submitting my short articles to Ezine Articles in March of 2007. Within two or three months I had enough people on my list to start making money and build an online business. Before this time I had not had any direction to take to get started on the internet. To date, I have 667 articles published, with almost 111,000 page views. These numbers still seem incredible to me, and I lived through each day, so I know it can be done. To see where I am at when you read this post, just go to Articles by Connie. You can see that I write articles on a variety of topics. Some of the articles promote me and my sites, and others promote affiliate poducts and services that I endorse. I will tell you that each article will be worth about $100 to me over the course of about six months.
On my teleseminar today I will explain how to write these articles quickly so that you can get started with your own online business. Sign up in the box to the right and you will receive the call-in information. I will also make this call available so that you can listen to the replay at a later time.
Writing these articles has allowed me to position myself as somewhat of an expert, giving me increased credibility and visibility on the internet. It has also enabled me to write and sell my eBooks and make money from affiliate products and services. Be sure to listen to this teleseminar to get some new ideas.

Last year I took part in Alex Mandossian’s Teleseminar Secrets course. It literally changed my business overnight and brought me prospects and clients from around the world. Alex just sent out his list top ten affiliates for his current program, and I was #5 on this list. Join me on my free teleseminar this Wednesday and I will tell you exactly how I did this, considering my list is probably smaller and I have been online less time that most of the people on his top ten list.
If you are interested in taking Alex’s free online Author Marketing Quiz, visit this link to learn more. All of his materials, content, and information are among the highest professional quality you will find on the internet.

When I was writing my first eBook almost two years ago, I found that my list was so small I would not have enough prospects to sell my eBook to once it was finished. I decided to take some of the points I had made in my eBook and turn them into a 6 part e-course. I began to tell my list, my business contacts, other bloggers, and anyone else who would listen about my e-course. The result was that my list began to grow and grow as people shared it with others. Everyone wanted my e-course, even though it only consisted of 6 short emails that I loaded into an autoresponder series. I began to make money as people purchased the affiliate products I listed at the end of each part of the e-course.
I have given away several of my e-courses as examples of how you can build your list and make money this way. Writing even a short e-course will position you as an expert in your field, and teach others the information you want to share in smaller, consumable chunks. Yesterday I found an eBook that describes the process in more detail and much better than I could do myself, so I want to share that with you now. It is written by Jimmy D Brown, the well-known internet author, and is called How To Create An E-Course. Please read it, learn from it, and let me know what you think about it.

Writing an eBook is the fastest and easiest way to get started making money on the internet. Once you know how to write an eBook that sells, you can build an online business that will give you passive income for the rest of your life. Learning the sequence that must be followed will almost guarantee you success on the internet. Do not leave out any of the steps, or the process will not work. Here are the steps to take if you want to write an eBook that will sell, giving you the internet marketing lifestyle you may have been searching for online.
- Find a specific target market in your niche. You can conduct your own market research on your niche topic to see which area appeals to you the most. Think about jobs or experiences you have had, or personal interests you know something about. Anything you are pasionate about will be the very best topic to write your eBook about.
- Do some research to see if they are actively searching for information on the internet. Type in the keywords that you would use on Google or Yahoo! to find more information on this topic.
- See if there are already some products for sale in this niche market. This way you will know if people are willing to pay for this information or not. Look at the top and sides of Google when you do your search. These are the paid ads, also referred to as sponsored ads, that show you how many people are paying to advertise there.
- Find an affiliate (more…)

The money you make from selling your eBook is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to online profits. By finding the right affiliate products and services to startegically include in your eBook, you will end up making four or five times as much as the initial cost of your eBook. Even if people give away your eBook to others, you will still make money with it over time.
You will want to find affiliate programs that offer something that is complimentary to the subject matter you have written about. I like to include my affiliate links both in the chapter of my eBook where they make sense, as well as at the end of my eBook in a resource section. This gives people two opportunities to find out more about the products and services you are promoting.
Additionally, it is my personal perference not to recommend something I have not used and benefitted from myself. This way I can personally endorse the person or service I am recommending. For example, I encourage everyone to go over to Clickbank to search for appropriate digital products to promote to people on their list or in their eBook. I also just recently became involved in DealsDotCom, and suggest you take a look at what they have to offer.

I have just returned from Atlanta, where I attended Big Seminar 11. I will be sharing much of what I learned with all of my students. For now, I would like you to take a look at Audio Generator, an easy to use program that allows you to add audio to your website, blog, landing page, or other page on the web. Adding audio has been proven to increase the time people stay on your page, as well as improve your conversion rates when someone is deciding whether to take you up on your offer.
After you sign up for this audio service, you can then become an affiliate and promote it to others. This will more than cover the cost, which is $29 per month. During the coming weeks I will be teaching you how to use audio to sell more of your eBooks and get more visitors to your blog or website.
Think about sites you have visited that include audio. What was your reaction? Were you more likely to listen to the person’s message for a minute or two while deciding if this site was of interest to you? Give Audio Generator a try and let me know about the success you notice very quickly.

I have been asked several times recently about Tom Antion’s book, “Click“. This book is about 800 pages long and has been updated for 2008. If you are looking for the one reference book that will show you exactly what Tom has done to create a multi-million dollar online empire, this is the one you need. Priced at only $97, this book includes information on every aspect of internet marketing. I have followed Tom’s teachings for quite a while now, and finally became one of his mentees in November of 2006. If Tom doesn’t know about it or isn’t doing it on the internet, it is probably a waste of your time. Instead, see what he is doing and what works for him and start making money like so many of his mentees are doing, including The Blog Squad, Jeff Herring, Joan Stewart, and myself.
Tom Antion is even better known as a sought after public speaker, so if you have any interest in becoming a more
effective public speaker be sure to visit his Amazing Public Speaking site to learn more. Public speaking is one of the highest paid careers there is, and can be a way to recession-proof your business, whether you are building it online or off. I have personally seen Tom speak to a room of hundreds of people, each glued to their seat and hanging on to his every word.
Additionally, Tom developed Kick Start Cart as his personal label, and thousands of us around the world are able to handle our database management, broadcasting, and product sales through this service.

One of the best things about working online is that you can reach so many more people on the internet than you could through any other medium. When you write an article, post to a blog, or comment in a social media forum you are reaching out to more than one billion internet users around the world. You can also monetize your efforts more efficiently for the same reason.
I promote about ten products and services along with my own. Half of these are digital products available at Clickbank. This site has thousands of digital products available for sale. You can sign up for a free account and begin promoting these products through articles and blogs. Clickbank will send you a check every two weeks for what you have sold through your affiliate link. I only promote products that are related to something I know about or have an interest in.
The other way I earn affiliate income is by promoting the products and services of people I know or have done business with. Some example of these are the two free article writing templates from Jeff Herring, Tom Antion’s 800 page Click book, and Kathleen Gage’s 200 page guide to internet marketing. You can learn how to put all of this together by using Kick Start Cart, which is a combination shopping cart and database management system. They offer a 30 day trial and I offer training twice a month on how to use the system.
My free teleseminar next Wednesday, April 9, will go into more detail on how you can start making money with affiliate sales, even before your eBook is written or you have any products of your own. Make sure to leave your name and emaill address in the box in the upper right-hand corner and I will send you the dial-in details for this call.

While you are writing your ebook you can make money with affiliate programs. I will be going through an intensive training with one of my mentors, Tom Antion, on this topic. There are two types of affiliate programs - those that pay you one time when someone buys a product you promote, and those that pay you residual income month after month. You will also want to include affiliate links in your ebook, so that you make money over and above the cost of the ebook.
On Monday I will report back to you on what I have learned. I will also be holding a teleseminar to share what I already know, what works for me, and what I will be learning during this training. In the meantime, go over and sign up for your free account at Clickbank and search for products you can promote to your readers.

I teach my students how to start with an idea and turn it into an ebook. Along the way they write blogs posts, forum comments, articles, and short reports. It is these short reports that can generate income for you online. A short report can be anywhere from about 25 pages to around 40 pages at the most. It should cover a topic of interest to your audience and be directed at the needs of your niche market. No matter what are you specialize in, a short report is an excellent way to start making money online. Some people make a good living simply from writing these short reports.
Download this short report on ebook writing. Be sure to read through it completely to see how this type of writing is done. This short report is 29 pages long and contains good, useful information that will benefit anyone who is writing an ebook. After you read it, I invite you to come back here and leave your thoughts and comments.

You can write an ebook that will make you more money, sometimes several times more than the price of your ebook, by using affiliate links within the book. Writing a short E-course and giving it to your list will help you to build your list. You can distribute it through an autoresponder system, giving people one tip or lesson at a time over a period of several days or weeks. I have prepare an E-course that you can download here. Do you Squidoo? If not, you are missing out on a great opportunity. Squidoo was started by marketer Seth Godin several years ago. At this free site you set up a page, called a ‘lens’, that relates to a specific topic. I set up a few of these lenses during the fall of 2007 and didn’t give it much more thought.
I now see that Squidoo is responsible for my page rank moving up in Google and that about one third of my list found me through my lens on Squidoo. Here is a book that can tell you everything you need to know. Another great thing about this book, which sells for under ten dollars, is that you can sell it to others to build up your list. Squidoo only takes about 30 minutes to set up for your topic and the benefits will last for years to come. I will talk more about this topic on my technology call tomorrow, Tuesday, February 26. Sign up in the box on the right and you will get the dial-in information in time for the call. There is no charge for this teleseminar.
