Article Marketing To Build Your List And Promote Affiliate Products

Article marketing has been a foundation of my online business for almost two years now.  I write articles to lend credibility to the work i do in my niche, as well as to build my list and to promote affiliate products. Writing an article a day makes me feel like I am truly marketing myself and my business in a way that will bring me benefits for years to come.

I am most often asked how long these articles need to be. The answer depends on where you will be submitting them. I continue to submit articles at Ezine Articles, for some obvious reasons. It is free, you will have great visibility on this site, and it is a way for you to showcase your writing. Take a look at what articles I am writing by going to ArticlesByConnie. The word count requirement here is 250 words minimum. But remember that this is an article directory, that simply stores your articles, and not an article distribution site, that actively works to get your articles out to as many places as possible. There is a huge difference.

Everything changed for me in July, when I began submitting my articles to a distribution service called Article Marketer. This site is free for as long as you want to stay in that status, but I highly recommend the 90 day paid version. Once I started submitting my articles to Article Marketer, I began to see my list grow more quickly, my affiliate products sell at a faster pace, and my visibility on Google go up from about 10,000 hits for my name in July, to more than 30,000 as of this writing. This site requires a minimum word count of 400 words.

Article marketing works. Give yourself a goal and then take action. One year from today your life will be very different, in ways you cannot even imagine at this time.
